Reconciliation in Action

At Yanun, reconciliation is more than a week on the calendar – it’s a commitment that shapes how we work, build relationships and partner with communities every day.

National Reconciliation Week and NAIDOC Week provide important opportunities to celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, reflect on our shared history and strengthen connections across Australia. This year, our team proudly participated in events across both the Northern Territory and South Australia, reinforcing our commitment to listening, learning and creating meaningful opportunities for collaboration.

During National Reconciliation Week, Yanun co-hosted Building with Purpose alongside SKS Technologies and Stone & Chalk, bringing together leaders from government, construction and industry to explore stronger partnerships with First Nations businesses and communities. We also partnered with the Property Council of Australia NT to deliver the Acknowledge This! seminar, encouraging greater understanding of meaningful Acknowledgements of Country and cultural capability across the property sector.

During NAIDOC Week, our team was proud to walk alongside community at the Darwin NAIDOC March and participate in celebrations across South Australia. These moments serve as an important reminder that reconciliation is built through genuine relationships, shared experiences and ongoing action, not just during dedicated weeks.

We’re grateful to everyone we’ve had the opportunity to work alongside and look forward to continuing to build respectful partnerships that create lasting outcomes for communities.
